Wendy Enjoys a Red-Letter Session at Baston Serpentine

Wendy made the most of the overcast conditions during a recent trip to Baston Serpentine, putting together an incredible session after targeting showing fish tight to a reed-lined margin.

Fishing a yellow Baylys Baits Apex wafter on a D-rig, she baited the area with a mix of crushed Apex boilies, sweetcorn and pellets, all glugged in Apex Spod Syrup to keep the fish grubbing around.

The tactic paid off in spectacular fashion, with Wendy landing an impressive seven carp, including:

  • :fish: Mirror – 35lb 8oz

  • :fish: Mirror – 34lb 4oz

  • :fish: Mirror – 30lb 4oz

  • :fish: Mirror – 29lb 12oz

  • :fish: Mirror – 22lb

  • :fish: Plus two smaller mirrors to complete an unforgettable catch tally.
