After finding it difficult to get much time on the bank this year, Sam Bingham finally managed to sneak away for a few nights on his syndicate water – and it didn’t take long for the carp to remind him what he’d been missing.
Fishing over a generous bed of around 3–4kg of DNA Baits Bug and Switch boilies soaked in Liver Extract, mixed with lake pellets, Sam presented Bug dumbbell hookbaits topped with PB pop-ups.
The approach paid off in style, producing a brace of 30-pounders weighing 36lb and 30lb 4oz.
