The Bag That’s Always Ready to Go
I’ve owned plenty of bits of carp luggage over the years, but the Speero Stalker Bag has become one of those items I genuinely wouldn’t want to be without.
One of the reasons it suits my fishing so well is the flexibility it offers. Quite often I’m fishing straight from my campervan, and instead of taking loads of luggage with me, I can simply grab this bag knowing all my terminal tackle is organised and ready to go.
When I’m doing longer sessions with the bivvy, the Stalker Bag fits neatly inside my rucksack alongside my stove, cooking gear and other essentials. If I’m fishing from the van or just heading out for a quick overnighter, I leave the rucksack behind and take this on its own. It saves time, cuts down on clutter and means I’m never hunting around for the bits I need.

What impresses me most is how well thought out the layout is. Every compartment has a purpose, making it easy to keep hooks, rigs, lead clips, swivels and all the other essentials neatly organised.
Despite its compact size, it holds a surprising amount of tackle without becoming bulky. Everything is easy to access, even in the dark, and because it isn’t oversized, it encourages you to carry only what you actually need.
The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Speero. The materials feel tough, the zips are solid and it’s clearly designed to withstand plenty of use on the bank. Mine has been thrown in and out of the van countless times and still looks as good as the day I bought it.
