RidgeMonkey Armoury Lite Tackle Box
I’ve used plenty of tackle boxes over the years, and for me, the RidgeMonkey Armoury Lite strikes the best balance between storage and practicality. It’s a much better size than the Armoury Pro, which I always felt was unnecessarily large, and I actually prefer it to the Korda Tackle Box too.
One of the biggest advantages of the Armoury Lite is that it encourages you to carry only what you genuinely need. There’s enough room for hooks, swivels, lead clips, shrink tube, putty and all the other terminal tackle essentials, without ending up with a box full of items you’ll probably never use. Everything has its place, making it quick and easy to find what you’re looking for.
The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from RidgeMonkey. It feels solid, the catches are secure, and it stands up well to being thrown in and out of the barrow or the back of the van. It’s a tackle box that feels like it’ll last for years.
Ironically, mine rarely makes it onto the bank these days. For most sessions I like to travel as light as possible, so I usually take a couple of Korda Mini Boxes loaded with just the bits I need. They save space and weight, especially on shorter trips. The Armoury Lite has instead become my main tackle organiser at home, where it keeps everything neat, organised and ready to refill my session boxes before I head out.
If you’re looking for one tackle box to keep all of your terminal tackle organised, I think the Armoury Lite is one of the best options available. It’s compact enough to remain practical while offering plenty of storage, and unlike some larger systems, it doesn’t encourage you to carry half a tackle shop with you.

The RidgeMonkey Armoury Lite is a brilliantly designed tackle box that gets the balance just right. Compact, tough and well laid out, it’s ideal for anglers who want to stay organised without carrying unnecessary bulk. Whether you use it on the bank or as your main storage box at home, it’s difficult to fault.
