A session Greg and Liam certainly won’t be forgetting in a hurry!
The pair headed to S&R Fishery for a week’s angling with one fish firmly in the back of their minds — the lake’s incredible Big Fully.
After already enjoying a fantastic run of fish throughout the trip, there was only one way the session could really be topped… and somehow, it happened.
Following the early starts, sleepless nights, recasts and inevitable setbacks that come with chasing a special carp, the rod finally went and the fish they’d both been dreaming about was on the end.
The result was the Big Fully — a record fully scaled carp and the perfect way to round off an unforgettable week.
For Greg and Liam, it was far more than simply another fish for the album. It was one of those captures where everything comes together — good mates, a memorable session and a carp they’d desperately wanted to see on the bank.
Some captures eventually become just another photograph.
This certainly won’t be one of them.
