New Lake Record at East Delph Lakes! 37lb Mirror Sets the Benchmark

The Back Lake at East Delph Lakes in Cambridgeshire has produced a brand-new lake record, with Stamford angler Craig Davies landing an impressive 37lb mirror.

Craig enjoyed a session to remember, banking not only the new record fish but also a 31lb common and a stunning 23lb ghost carp during his stay on the popular day-ticket venue. Not a bad haul by anyone’s standards!

The winning approach was fishing tight to an overhanging bush, where Craig presented DNA BAITS 15mm Secret 7 Hard Hookers topped with halved Fruitylicious pop-ups. Around the hookbait he introduced a mix of whole and crumbed Secret 7 and Bug boilies, along with house pellets, all boosted with SLK Hydro Spod Syrup.

Whether it was the baiting approach, the location, or simply being in the right place at the right time, it certainly paid off with a fish that now sits at the top of the lake’s record books.
