A tough week at Tranquility Lakes in France ended with one very special result for Matty — the incredible Black Mirror at 56lb 9oz, setting a brand-new personal best. 
It proved to be the only fish of the week, but when it looks like this and weighs over 56lb, it’s certainly one worth waiting for!
The successful baiting approach was AA Baits Spicy SKS Boilie, soaked in GLM Extract and Megamino® before being coated in GLM Powder. On the business end, an SKS Hard Hooker topped with a Pineapple Pop-Up produced the bite.
Sometimes a difficult session only needs one moment to make the whole trip worthwhile — and this was certainly one of them.
