What the Episode is About:

The Mission: Instead of competing against each other, Mark and Harry are joining forces with a simple but massive objective: to land a true “Fish of a Lifetime”—specifically chasing down a legendary UK 60lb carp.

The Venue: For their first 3-night session, they head across the water to the Isle of Wight to fish the famous Combley Lakes. The lake holds multiple 40s, 50s, and a potential 60-pounder that could shatter both of their longstanding UK personal bests.

The Action: The lads try to use stealth tactics with baiting poles on a very tricky, pressured small water. Naturally, there are plenty of classic banter moments, absolute disasters trying to handle the long baiting poles in a wind, and some stunning fish put on the mat—including an absolute unit of a 44lb 5oz linear mirror on the very first night, followed by a 43lb 12oz apple-slice linear.
It really captures that classic, old-school In Pursuit of Carpiness adventure vibe rather than a stressful match race, mixed with serious big-fish angling.
