Angler Permanently Banned After Trent View Toilet Block Left Covered in Human Excrement
Trent View Carp Fishery has permanently banned an angler after its recently refurbished toilet facilities were allegedly left in a disgusting state, with human excrement reportedly spread across the walls and surrounding areas.
The fishery shared its frustration publicly, explaining that a huge amount of time, money and effort had gone into improving the facilities for visiting anglers.
Trent View said:
“We’ve put an immense amount of time, money, blood, sweat and tears into building what we have today.
So to recently refurb the toilet block… and then find it left in that state is beyond disappointing.
It’s disrespectful to the fishery, to the team, and to every angler that uses the facilities properly.”
According to the fishery, the person responsible has since been identified and permanently banned via Swimbooker.
The venue added that behaviour like this “will NOT be tolerated”, saying it takes a huge amount of pride in the fishery and simply expects visitors to show the same level of respect.
It’s difficult to understand how anyone could think leaving facilities in this condition is acceptable, particularly at a venue where somebody else then has to clean it up.
Fishery toilets might not be the glamorous side of carp fishing, but decent facilities cost money to build, maintain and clean. Incidents like this ultimately affect everyone who uses them.
Is a permanent ban the right punishment, or would you go even further for something like this?
