For more than 30 years, CarpTalk was one of the most recognisable names in carp fishing.
For countless anglers, it wasn’t just a newspaper—it was part of the weekly routine. Every issue was packed with big fish captures, venue reports, tackle launches, interviews, opinion pieces and the latest news from around the carp scene. It documented the evolution of modern carp fishing and became part of the sport’s history.
While the printed publication may no longer be with us, the CarpTalk name still carries huge respect within the angling community.
That’s why, in April 2020, we acquired the online assets of CarpTalk.
From day one, the vision wasn’t to bring back a newspaper. The industry has changed, and so has the way anglers consume content. Instead, our goal has always been to preserve the legacy of one of carp fishing’s greatest brands by giving it a modern home online.
Today, CarpTalk is evolving into a community-first platform where anglers can do far more than just read the latest stories. We want it to be the place where the carp fishing world comes together to:
-
Read the latest carp fishing news -
Join discussions with anglers from around the UK and beyond -
Watch the latest videos from across the industry -
Discover new tackle releases and honest opinions -
Share catches, session reports and venue information -
Learn from experienced anglers and contribute your own knowledge
The best communities aren’t built by one publisher—they’re built by the people who use them.
That’s exactly what we want CarpTalk to become.
Whether you remember picking up the latest issue every week, or you’re discovering the CarpTalk name for the first time, you’re part of the next chapter.
We’re incredibly proud to be custodians of such an important name in carp fishing, and we’re committed to ensuring its legacy continues for many years to come.
Welcome to the new CarpTalk—where the conversation never stops.
