42LB 8OZ HASHTAG COMMON HEADLINES A THREE-FISH HIT FOR RICK

Swim 12 continues to produce the goods on Pettitts, with Rick enjoying a superb three-fish session topped by the impressive Hashtag Common at 42lb 8oz.
The big common was the first fish of the session and looked in fantastic condition. Rick then followed it up with two more quality Pettitts mirrors weighing 35lb 8oz and 31lb.
Considering the warm conditions experienced over recent weeks, it was an excellent result.
Rick found his spot at 17½ wraps, fishing towards the boat ramp in the corner near Swim 4. He kept the baiting relatively light, introducing just four Spombs after getting the rods into position.
His spod mix consisted of Iso Fish boilie, Cell boilie, sweetcorn and flaked maize, soaked in hemp oil and Sriracha sauce.
All three bites came on Spinner Rigs presented with double slow-sinking corn.
Three bites, three carp over 30lb and a cracking session from a swim that certainly appears to be in good form.
Congratulations to Rick on a brilliant result — and particularly on the 42lb 8oz Hashtag Common.
