98 carp in 48 hours… on one of the UK’s most famous day-ticket lakes! 
The latest Parker Baits social at Linear Fisheries’ Brasenose Two delivered an incredible 98 carp in just 48 hours, matching the event’s all-time record.
With 32 anglers taking part, the weekend produced seven new personal bests, a stunning 40lb 6oz mirror, plenty of 30-pounders and over 2,300lb of carp landed between them.
The scorching daytime temperatures made fishing tough, but as darkness fell the lake switched on, rewarding anglers who kept adapting. Solid bags, surface fishing, zigs, baited spots and a range of hookbait tactics all played their part.
The race for the ‘Most Fish’ title went right down to the wire, with just a single fish separating several anglers before Richard Drake sealed the win with an impressive 12 carp, 10 of which came from the surface.
